Relationship between financial development and outdoor openness: Turkey example

Since the 1970s, financial development has become an important issue for countries with the increase of economic activities in the world economy. More financial instruments and servicesare needed forreasons such as not being affected by international shocks, increasing capital efficiency and trade volume. International trade and financial systems, which have acceleratedits development with theimpact of technological developments day by day, have made economies dependent on eachother in the changing and developing world. Forthisreason, theissue of financial development and openness has been the subject of many academic studies since 2000s. Once this work is described in terms of financial development and openness it has tried to present financial development and openness relations in Turkey.
