The analytical commentary of Surah ad-Duha

The Surah ad-Duha takes its name from the very first word and it has eleven ayaats. It is the ninety third surah in the order of Mushaf and the eleventh in the chronological order of revelation, it was revealed after Surah al-Fajr and before Surah al-Inshirah in Makkah. It was revealed as a response for the polytheists who said that "Allah has foresaken and displeased with him (Prophet(" in the period in which revelation had stopped coming to him and to herald the Prophet with some upcoming blessings. The aim of this surah is to give the prophet spiritual strength who had saddened after the revelation had stopped temporarily, meanwhile it contains some advices to the believers such as how to think deeply about the creation of everything and how to deal with orphans, and the people who are begging and how to be grateful for the favors of Allah. In our thesis, we aim to explain how this surah was handled in some basic and known Tafseer resources, and to review this surah using the Analytical Tafseer method. We started by giving general information in Tafseer and its types, Surat ad-Duha's name, virtue, reason of revelation, Makki or Madani, count of its ayaats, its relationship with other surahs, and the subjects it contains. And then we mentioned the "Kiraat" differences, the meaning of the ayaats based on some basic and known resources, and the tafseer based on meaning considering all the analysis and tafseer which has detailed in our whole study. In the second part, we analyzed the words and the concepts contained in the surah considering Tafseer and Lugat resources.
