Molla Hüsrev's canon lawful opinion upon dürer book

Molla Hüsrev is one of the personalities who has got an important place in the Ottoman Law of Classical Period. Molla Hüsrev, who lived in a period when the intellectual fundamentals of State were established, had also important effects for Hanafi Sunni tradition to get established. His works which were briefly known as Dürer and Gürer that he wrote on Law of Islam have got practical and theoretical great values in Ottoman Law. These works that had the characteristic of law text to which the kadhis referred within Ottoman judicial institutions for many years were studied in the medressehs for many years, too. Upon Molla Hüsrev?s book Dürer, this study in which we have investigated his Canon Lawful Opinion consists of two parts, one of them is introduction. In the part of introduction, there exist Molla Hüsrev?s life, his works, and the information about his book named Dürer. In the first part, it has been tried to reach at the opinions that Molla Hüsrev preferred together with their sources. In the second part, the opinions that he criticized again together with their sources have been studied. Molla Hüsrev worked at the important positions in Ottoman State, and as the result of his experiences, he performed his Canon Lawful book named Dürer.
