Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT In this study, Atatürk's spiritual daughter Afet İnan was examined with his thoughts and practices. On the 30th of October 1908, Afet İnan is a personality who lived and felt deeply in the hard days of 1912 Balkan Harbin as a child. In this process, Afet Inan, who succeeded in being able to become a teacher with the support of his family, met perhaps the most critical turning point of his life with President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Afet Inan, who met Mustafa Kemal and completed his undergraduate and doctorate in Ataturk's spiritual daughter in Geneva, has accomplished a great success even today even with today's achievement of an anthropometric measurement with 64,000 people supported by the government. In my study, the criticisms of Afet İnan's doctoral thesis, the aim of the thesis and the conditions of the period were examined in detail. The method of dissection is based on the scanning of primary sources. Ahmet Piriştina Kent Archive, İzmir National Library, DEU Central Library, General Staff Military History and Strategic Survey Department (ATASE), Ankara National Library, Prime Ministry Republic Archive(BCA), Turkish Historical Society Library Archive Documents, Turkish Grand National Assembly Zabıt Cerdelieri, magazines were-scanned. I have tried to explain the emergence of Afet İnan as a Turkish woman and history researcher in the process of change and transformation that took place after the foundation of the Republic of Turkey. The role of Afet İnan in the emergence of the Turkish History Institution and the Turkish History Conscious, studies are focused-on. Afet İnan, who has valuable services in the modernization of Turkish women and Turkish women getting rights in municipal and parliamentary elections, is one of the rare people who registered their lives during that period. The book, which is close to forty has nearly one hundred and twenty hundred articles in various newspapers and magazines, and the records shared by Atatürk and the important events of the period made this work different. Key words: Afet İnan, Atatürk, Women's rights, İdeal Village of the Republic
