Abstract (EN)
Wall paintings have emerged as a social call in order to publicize a fact to the public and to everyone. Mostly applied by non-professional artists, indoor or outdoor. It is an art form that uses different materials and techniques. When evaluated in terms of these features, today wall paintings have gained a quality that almost civilizes art. These art works are the objective expression of social development and change. In this sense, it is in coherence with the feelings and thoughts of the society as in other branches of art and techniques. For these reasons, wall paintings, in a sense, are considered to be a reflection of the general art movements and tendencies of the time in terms of subject matter, scope and content. Certainly, it is impossible to describe the nature and qualities of art in words. However, wall paintings, as a reflection of religious, worldly or individual thoughts formed by social dynamics, are considered to be among the monumental works of art of each historical period. Regardless of which motive or motivation they are made, today, it maintains its social value as an art form.
