Abstract (EN)
Cinema is one of the most effective arts in reflecting reality. The constructed reality must be as realistic as possible. Viewers experience events on the big screen that they have not had the opportunity to live through themselves while they are immersed in the works presented to them. Cinema is a powerful medium capable of reaching large audiences. Considering these characteristics, it is inevitable that the works produced will have an impact on viewers. These effects have been evaluated through the films given as examples in Turkish cinema. This thesis explores how directors convey these ideas, emotions, and thoughts to audiences using the instruments of cinema. The techniques used during transmission, such as script, sound, light, editing, and shooting plans, are investigated and interpreted based on these examples to understand how effective they are in conveying the intended emotions and what methods are used to market emotions in this industry.
