Abstract (EN)

Job satisfaction is characterized as a concept that has a separate importance for their continuity from the point of view of today's organizations, where losing human resources leads to undesirable consequences for organizations. This concept refers to how employees expectations are met by their organizations in exchange for their labor. This creates a serious competitive environment for organizations in terms of their employees not going to other organizations in the sector. Emotion is not a tangible thing that is hand-held and visible in terms of its form and characteristics. But emotions have become one of the almost tangible determinants of the working environment in today's conditions and have a value that can be expressed materially. Especially in recent years, with the rapid expansion of the service sector, emotional labor has become an incontrovertible and generalized part of many service areas and many professional sectors, including teaching. In this study, the relationship between emotional labor and job satisfaction in the public sector was investigated in Beyoğlu district of Istanbul. According to the analysis conducted at the end of the study, there was a significant link between emotional labor and job satisfaction, and this directly affected the work of individuals.
