Abstract (EN)
Emotional intelligence has a crucially important place in every aspect of our lives, which allows the individuals to recognize his / her own feelings and to evaluate and control the emotions of others as well. In the rapidly changing world, within the environment of increasing, the responsibilities of the leaders are increasing accordingly. It is the responsibility of the leaders to orient the organization in line with the objectives of the organization and to motivate them to achieve the targeted success. In this respect, it is important for the leaders to alter themselves in accordance with emotional intelligence in their communication with their followers and giving priority to this issue will lead to an increase in productivity within the organization as well as reflecting positively in their relations with all internal and external stakeholders of the organization. In this context, the main purpose of this research; to elucidate the conceptual framework of the concept of emotional intelligence and leadership and to examine the relationship between those two concepts. In doing so, a detailed literature analysis has been conducted by examining the studies conducted so far. In this respect, it has been determined that there is a strong and positive relationship between the concepts of emotional intelligence and leadership.
