Özet (EN)

In recent years, glass has started to be used in all areas of our lives. Where high strength and safe disintegration is required in glass, it is paid attention to select tempered glass. Tempered glass has high mechanical strength. For this reason, the use of tempered glass has gained importance in all sectors. In this study, it is aimed to be understood the relationship between the temper parameters and the number of particles which is an indicator of the fragmentation behaviour of tempered glass. Therefore, the variation of the particle number according to the furnace speed, fan frequency and quench distance was investigated. Experimental methods were applied by using different furnace speed, fan frequency and quench distance values in a company producing tempered glass for the white goods sector. A fuzzy logic model was created to find the most suitable parameter values according to the desired number of particles and the experiment was modeled. The Fuzzy Logic toolbox of Matlab software was used for data analysis. The model made possible instant estimation of the particle count according to the temper parameters. As a result of the analysis of the obtained data, it was found that the number of particles rised with increasing fan frequency and quench distance value and fell with increasing oven speed.
