Abstract (EN)
Drilling of flat glass is an important process in kitchen furniture production. The demand for glass drilling has recently been increased in the last years. This research is dealt with the analytic analysis of the glass drilling parameters. To maximize the hole quality, more attention should be given to the choice of cutting speed and size of sand particle of abrasive materials. All experiments were conducted by choosing different cutting speed sand various size of sand particle of abrasive materials. In this work, the effect of cutting speed and abrasive particle size was taken into consideration in the optimization of the parameters. The data were analysed using tukey test and analysis of variance (anova). Optimum cutting speed was founded as 1200 mm/min for the selected mesh size.
