In this master's thesis study, the status of the current drinking water resources according to the changing population estimates and drinking water needs of Düzce city center in the future has been made. The current situation of drinking water resources of Düzce city center was examined and the problems in drinking water and alternative solutions were determined as a result of the studies. The drinking water needs of Düzce city center are met by the Uğur Suyu Stream, Kozluk Stream, Oda Yeri Highland, Samandere Highland and 16 borehole systems located at different points in the city center. In the 35 year project made by Iller Bank for drinking water in 1989, the population foreseen in the calculations for 2025 and the clean water to be needed accordingly reached the maximum values in the water requirement calculations in 2022 with the available data, and it is seen that the calculations for the drinking water system were insufficient. Currently, the city center has a population of 197 557 people, a drinking water flow of 755 l/s and a water tank of 11000 m3 . According to 2013 Iller Bank parameters, in the calculations made for 2022, the drinking water flow rate is 771 l/s and the water tank requirement is 30000 m3 by taking up-to-date data. A 35-year project design study for drinking water is carried out, and when progress is made gradually, the population growth rates foreseen in 2055 and solutions for the need for drinking water are presented in proportion to this. Initially, the current drinking water resources should be revised and the diarrhea lines should be renewed urgently. The existing treatment plant should be revised and a new water tank should be built according to the need. New additional pumping centers and water tanks should be built in the city center. With a new dam to be built in the Georgian Asar Village region within the framework of the 35 years old drinking water system planning, a drinking water source can be provided to Düzce city center in the long run.
