Nutritional habits and knowledge levels of physical education teachers WHO duty in düzce province

This study was conducted to determine the Nutritional Knowledge Levels and Nutritional Habits of Physical Education Teachers working in Düzce. The research is a descriptive study in the screening model, one of the quantitative research methods. The study group of the research consists of a total of 149 teachers, 41 women and 108 men who voluntarily participated in the universe of physical education teachers working in Düzce. The demographic information scale developed by the researcher and the nutrition habits and nutritional knowledge level of teachers developed by Gundogdu (2009) were used as data collection tools. Nutritional knowledge level was measured by using a multiple choice test, nutritional information score was obtained from the results obtained and differentiation status of nutritional knowledge level was examined depending on demographic characteristics. Since the obtained data did not show normal distribution, nonparametric tests were used in the study. According to the results of the analysis, the nutritional knowledge levels of the teachers were moderate and differed significantly in terms of age variable (p <, 05); it was found that there was no significant difference in terms of other variables (p>, 05).
