Abstract (EN)
With this study some insect species are determined the forests of Kaynaşlı district of Düzce province found in 2020-2021. Insect samples were collected through field studies with mechanical and biotechnical methods. Insects found in the trap woods were photographed in their natural habitats, the trees they were found in, their succumbed shapes were evaluated. Insect species were identified using the literature, and samples collected from pheromone traps and trap wood were taken into separate boxes and brought to the laboratory. The phloem and xylem parts of the trees were studied and as a result, data on the new record for the region, damage status of insects, generation numbers of important species and flight periods were obtained. A total of 62 species were identified; Information such as new record for the region, damage status, geographic location, altitude, locality, collection date are given.
