Mobbing and anxiety in nurses who works in Duzce University Hospital

This research is made sectional for the determination of the relation between mobbing and anxiety for the nurses. Research group is formed by the 150 (129 female, 21 male) nurses occupying at Research and Application Hospital of Duzce University. Levels of mobbing victim nurses affected by the research the score of physical, psychological and social influences was significantly higher in the subjects exposed to emotional distress. When the relationship examined between mobbing and anxiety the mean score of anxiety level of mobbing exposed nurses was significantly higher. A significant difference was found between mobbingine exposure and anxiety scale scores. In the research exposed at mobbing thirteen nurses on a severe level, twenty three nurses lived mildly mobbing . When an emotional abuse exposure is assessed between the unit being worked on who works intensive care units (%45.1 ) were exposed to more emotional abuse than the other units. There was no significant difference between the exposure to emotional abuse and the unit studied. When mobbing and anxiety point averages were evaluated according to education level in nurses, no significant difference was found. There was a statistically significant difference between the working environment criteria according to the education level. As a result, it was determined that anxiety level and severity were increased in mobbing nurses. The suggestions are made through the findings obtained by the research.
