Abstract (EN)
In this research, the relationship between the career adaptability skills and entrepreneurial tendencies of students enrolled in the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Düzce University was investigated. The research implemented an associative survey model, a quantitative research method, to examine this relationship. The study population consisted of 556 students attending Düzce University's Faculty of Sports Sciences. An inquiry tool using a questionnaire technique was employed for data collection. The researcher utilized a form containing questions regarding the demographic characteristics of the students. Additionally, two scales were used in the study: the 'Entrepreneurship Scale for University Students,' a 36-item scale developed by Yılmaz and Sünbül in 2009 to measure entrepreneurial tendencies, and the 'Career Adaptability Skills Scale,' a 24-item scale adapted to Turkish by Kanten (2012) with established validity and reliability. The Entrepreneurial Tendency and Career Adaptability Skills Scales were administered face-to-face by the researcher and then analyzed. IBM SPSS 25 software was used for data analysis, encompassing the creation of frequency tables and conducting normality tests to determine the data distribution. The statistical properties of the data, including mean, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis, were examined to assess normality, which indicated a normal distribution of the data. Therefore, parametric tests were conducted, considering a significance level of 0.05. Parametric tests such as t-tests, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Pearson correlation analysis were conducted based on students' demographic characteristics. Correlation analysis was used to explore the relationship between Career Adaptability Skills and Entrepreneurial Tendencies, aiming to determine how much Career Adaptability Skills explained Entrepreneurial Tendencies. The results indicated a strong and positive correlation between Career Adaptability Skills and Entrepreneurial Tendencies. This study sheds light on the significant and positive relationship between Career Adaptability Skills and Entrepreneurial Tendencies among students at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Düzce University
