Abstract (EN)

In construction structures, the problems during construction forces us to create some openings on the beams for installment. But these openings seriously effect badly to the beam?s strength. Most of the researches tried to find solutions to the bad effects of the one opening on the beams. But in this thesis, instead of creating one opening on the beam, continuous openings created to distribute the bad effect of the opening to whole of beam in stead of one point. For this reason, 4 with square opening, 4 with circular opening and 2 without opening (reference) beams has been subjected to experiment. In the experiment, the size of the beam and the place of openings taken as constants. The changing parameters are taken as, the ratio of longitudinally steel, the tipe of opening, using X cable and using stirrup in the column. The experiment results estimated with making comparisions about the changes in strength, ductility, stiffness and shear behavior of the beam with the change in parameters. These estimates has shown that the designed beams have usually given good results in terms of strength, stiffness and ductility.
