Abstract (EN)
In the scope of this study the behaviour of RC beams with regular web openings subjected to monotonhic loading is investigated. Thus six beams with regular triangular or regular circular openings and three beams without openings as a reference to these beams are tested. The test parameters are chosen as the geometry of the opening and the reinforcement ratio of the tension area. According to the results of the tests, beams with low or normal reinforcement ratio in the tension area show sufficient ductile behaviour. Generally beams with circular openings yielded better results than the beams with triangular web openings.
