Abstract (EN)
Düzpuren Ruins, which is a coastal settlement within the borders of Pamphylia Region, is rich in ceramic remains and is located within the borders of Belek Special Environmental Protection Area. The pottery remains of the Düzpuren Ruins, which consist of remains on and around a hilly area, are spread throughout the settlement, providing important data on the historical processes. Among these ceramic remains found on the surface, there are finds that are production waste. The production waste ceramics in question were named as 10 different find areas according to the regions where they spread, and a total of 35 ceramic remains from these find areas were examined. Detailed drawings of 21 materials were made and their forms/typologies were determined. These tangible cultural assets, which were determined to be 'Late Roman D Red Slip Ceramics' from Late Roman Period ceramic groups, were classified according to the catalog created by J. Hayes, which is valid in international studies. These archaeological materials, which are the production wastes of daily use containers consisting of bowls and plates, date back to AD. It is dated between the 5th century and the end of the 7th century. The spread of these Late Roman D Red Slip Ceramics found in the region in the Mediterranean and its immediate surroundings provides data on the commercial relations of the region. These pottery remains, which were determined to be locally produced in Düzpuren Ruins, were used as a commercial commodity during the Late Roman Period.
