Abstract (EN)
This research aims to create deeper understanding of technological approach to pharma detailing activities in comparison with the conventional methods. The main marketing activity in pharmaceutical industry is detailing to healthcare professionals. Because of that, implementation of information technologies is expected to create difference in daily business. In the light of current studies, it is hard to indicate effects of information technologies on regular working day of a sales representative. In addition, as a different perspective, change management approach of the company comes to surface to understand whether sales force is getting enough information from the project team, acceptance level of new technology by both sales force and IT department of company and further improvement areas in the process. This study, different from limited studies in the past, will show real life implementation of e-detailing applications in a pharmaceutical company and its effects on whole business environment of the company in terms of marketing, sales operations, information technologies and so on.
