Abstract (EN)

Information and communication technologies continue to make life easier for individuals and organizations. Electronic government services technology emerges as a tool that states use to offer their services to citizens, public institutions and private sector organizations. E-customs as an e-goverment service is used in foreign trade operations which is one of the most important activities for all states and e-customs softwares are developed for data entry to e-customs infrastructure. The purpose of the study is to measure the quality of e-customs services and e-customs softwares in Turkey. In the study, primarily the concept of e-government, basic elements and purposes of e- government services will be discussed and e-government applications in the world and in Turkey will be explained. Developments and the issues that constitute the e-customs services and applications and modernization efforts in the world and in Turkey will be examined. In addition, the concept of service quality will be evaluated and software quality will be examined as application to provide electronic services. Finally, a survey study measuring the quality expectations and performance of e-customs services and e-customs softwares in the eyes of the main users; customs consultancy companies will be conducted and the results also suggestions related to the research will be revealed.
