Effect of the e-learning method on executive?s career planning at the turism sector

In our country, with the importance given to the human resources has been increasing, the organizations have begun to support the career planning process of their employees. Nowadays, by taking advantage of technology, the organizations have begun to implement the E-learning method, as a part of the human resource training and developement activities within the career planning process, to provide them a more effective learning opportunities. In this thesis study, the positive effects of the e-learning method on executive?s career planning process is discussed. This hypothesis, is tested by a survey application applied in a private corporation which use the e-learning method as a part of the human resources training and development activities. By analizing the survey results, the relationship between this new teaching method and the executive?s career planning process is tried to explained.Key Words: Career plannig, E-learning, Web-based learning, Internet
