Abstract (EN)

This study investigates the relationship between e-commerce and economic growth using bibliometric analysis. Utilizing data obtained from the Scopus database, the interaction and developmental trajectory of these two concepts within the scholarly literature were examined. The primary objective is to elucidate the effects of e-commerce on economic growth and to identify prevailing academic trends in this domain. Throughout the analysis, various bibliometric indicators such as keywords, authors, journals, countries, and citation metrics were employed. The study explores the evolution of e-commerce over time, the key areas attracting academic attention, and its association with economic growth. The findings reveal a steady increase in publications on this subject from 1998 to 2023, with a pronounced surge in the past five years. The United States, China, and the United Kingdom emerged as leading contributors, while interest from developing countries has also shown significant growth. Keyword analysis highlighted the prominence of terms such as "digital economy," "economic growth," and "e-commerce." In conclusion, this study aims to provide direction for future research on the nexus between e-commerce and economic growth. The results indicate that, influenced by digital transformation and global trade, e-commerce exerts a substantial impact on economic growth. The bibliometric analysis approach also uncovers gaps within the existing literature, offering researchers a comprehensive perspective for further investigation.
