Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the views and practices of parents, teachers and administrators on children's rights. The study group consists of 6 preschool administrators, 11 preschool teachers and 14 parents in Efeler district of Aydın province. Due to the qualitative nature of the study, maximum variation sampling method used in the formation of the study group. In this study, semi-structured interview questions developed by the researcher were used as data collection tools. During the research process, the raw data were recorded with the voice recorder during the interview and the recorded interviews were transcribed into the computer and descriptive analysis method was used on the data. As a result of the research; while parents define the child as child and freedom in relation to the family, administrators and teachers mostly define the child in relation to love and purity. When the views on children's rights are examined, it is seen that parents, teachers and administrators mostly focus on the child's right to development and participation; they have very little touch on the right to living and protection but have superficial knowledge of these rights. While it was stated that the implementation of children's rights was limited and concrete practices were on the right to participation and development, it was observed that the rights of protection were very low. The protection of all existing children's rights and the right to live, which is the most fundamental right, have never been mentioned. At the end of the research, the opinions and practices of parents, teachers and administrators about child rights were mentioned.
