Muslims always pay attention to the rules of religion in order to gain Allah's approval and avoid His wrath. The Qur'an and Sunnah contain amm, hass, mujmal and mufassal rulings. The purpose of these rules is to regulate people's life affairs. However, the texts of the Qur'an and Sunnah do not contain all people's affairs and behaviors. In every era, new issues appear in society that were not known in previous societies. This is the nature of human life. With the Islamic conquests, many people entered the religion of Islam, and with them new topics entered and issues occurred that were not known in the Islamic society at the time. Of course, these topics needed a proper place in the jurisprudential frameworks. This study stands at an important person in the history of Islamic jurisprudence from the region of Transoxiana. This person is Imam Abo Al Laith Al Samargandi. The study aims to introduce this imam and his jurisprudential views.
