The thesis of master Ebu Bekr Ibn al-Arabi?s approach to the hadith in his Ahkam al-Quran

This thesis aimed to examine in ?Ahkam al Quran? of Abu Bekr Ibn al Arabi, who lived at the end of the XIth century and the beginning of the XIIth century, his approach to the hadith.In this thesis Ibn al Arabi?s life, his works and his information of hadith were examined from different aspects.The first chapter deals with the term of hadith which Ibn al Arabi mentioned in his work. Later on, the works which he used as references in his work where evaluated.In the second chapter Ibn al Arabi?s understanding of Sunna and the place of Sunna among the Shar?i arguments were dealt with. Again, Ibn al Arabi?s look on the Israiliyyat and some samples he accepted or rejected among them has been presented.Here, from the Holy Quran, hadith, dictionaries and biography sources were benefited.Key words: 1- Ibn al Arabi, 2- Ahkam al Quran, 3- Hadith
