Ebu Bakr es-Sakafi and hadith narration

In this study, the life and narrations of Abu Bakr es-Sakafi, one of the Companions, who is the first link of the hadith transmission chain, will be discussed. In this study, which was carried out in order to better know Abu Bakr, who lived as a slave until he became a Muslim and who was honored with Islam during the siege of Taif, and to better understand the narrations that came with his style, the information was brought together with the literature review method. This study consists of an introduction and two main parts. In the introduction part, information about the Companions and hadith narration is basically given, while in the second part, information is given about the life, scientific personality of Abu Bakr es-Sakafi and the events he encountered in his lifetime. Also, based on Abu Bakr's attitude in the Battles of Jamel and Sıffin, which are called the events of fitnah, what kind of attitude he shows towards on these narrations, and in the third part, the early hadith sources of Abu Bakr and his narrations in Kutub-i Tis'a were examined and information was given about his narrations in these sources. At the end of this part, the narrations coming from the order of Abu Bakr about "namaz" and "fiten" and these narrations has been compared with other sources. Our study is completed with the conclusion part.
