The study deals with a manuscript investigation into the interpretation of "Surat An-Nahl" by the scholar Shams al-Din Abu Hamid al-Masri al-Maqdisi al-Shafi'i, one of the scholars of the ninth century AH. This interpretation has several advantages; What prompted me to study and investigate it, such as: the author combined interpretation with the maxim, interpretation by opinion, and interpretation by reference, and took care of the linguistic vocabulary and the various syntactic aspects, and the ways of readings, and the rhetorical and linguistic aspect were particularly concerned, as well as the jurisprudential and ideological issues. In a brief and sometimes weighted manner, and in his interpretation he combined the sayings of the companions, followers and famous scholars to clarify a meaning or support an idea, and included in his interpretation the correct and weak hadiths, and collected in his interpretation various sciences such as hadith, readings, poetry, grammar, rhetoric and morphology; He expanded on explaining the semantic differences between the words, and was not satisfied with explaining the lexical differences; What gained him great scientific value, but he is criticized for taking from The interpretations of Al-Qurtubi and Al-Baydawi without attributing them. The researcher followed the historical descriptive approach in introducing the author and his scientific biography , and followed the scientific method in investigation and commentary. In the study section, the author and his book were introduced. In the investigation section, the researcher took care of writing the text according to the modern orthographic drawing, adjusting and extracting the sayings and attributing them to their sources, and by addressing the issues contained in the text and clarifying them. Then the study concluded with its results, scientific indexes and the researcher's biography.
