Ebû Hayyân el-Endelüsi and Tuhfetü'l-Erîb Bimâ fi'l-Kurʾân Mine'l-Garîb named work

Since the language of the Qur'an is Arabic, the main focus of the science of Garîbu'l-Qur'an is the Arabic language. Understanding the purpose of the Qur'an is through grasping its language, Arabic, and having knowledge of its words. At this point, Ebû Hayyân's aptitude for linguistics, which we know that she also had studies on many languages, reached its peak in the Arabic language. The work of the author, whose dominance of the Arabic language we see in her commentary, is also a philological study in which she examines the garib words in the Qur'an. For this reason, in the first part of our study, we gave information about the family life of Abu Hayyan from her birth to her death, how her scientific adventure, which started in Andalusia, developed with her travels, the effects of these travels on her scientific personality, we discussed her contribution to the Islamic civilization together with the teachers she met and the students she left behind. In the second part, we will first make a general definition of the above-mentioned science of Garîbu'l-Qur'an, based on the word composition, and then we will talk about its place in the literature. We tried to explain the necessity and basis of the existence of this branch of science by giving place to the opinions of scholars on the subject. Finally, we talked about the scope of the studies carried out in this scientific field and the most important of the copyrighted works. In the last part of our study, the general features of the work we have discussed together with examples, we talked about the method the author followed in her work. Finally, we completed our work by designing all the words in the work in the form of a table, giving the explanation of the author and a verse example of the word from the Qur'an.
