The word world in Ebubekir Eroğlu's selection poems

Lexicon studies, which can be considered as asubcategory of linguistic, have increased in recent years. Studies of lexicon provide the opportunity of speech on the wording of poet. In this thesis, an analysis is carried out on the lexicon of selected poems of Ebubekir Eroğlu. The thesis consisted of five sections with introduction. In introduction, lexicon studies and importance of these studies are explained. In the first section, bio of Ebubekir Eroğlu, his literary identity and works are represented. In the second section, frequency of vocabulary are elaborated and the most repeated nouns and verbs are given with examples. In the third section, vocabulary types are determined and elaborated under the title of noun and verb elements. In the fourth section, word groups are analysed. In this section, noun and adjective phrases are explained in a detailed way in terms of meaning and style. Classification of words is concretized with graphics and tables in each section. Lastly, idioms, handiadys and imitative words are determined and exemplified with their frrequencies. In conclusion, thesis is evaluated in general. Throughout the study, used resources are mentioned in references section. In appendix, selected poems of Ebubekir Eroğlu are given.
