Edige Destans edition critical (Integrated new text detection)

Epic Edige (Idige) or Edige Batır that is one of important epics came into existence based on a hero of Noghai Turks. Especially, this epic is known by Kipchak people (Kazakh, Kazan Tatars, Karakalpaks, Bashkir) and Turkic tribes such as Uzbek, Turkmen. Epic Edige showed up between 14.-15. Centuries. Since then, there have been above fifty versions in respect of this work. Soviet Turcology analyzed important historical texts and epics concerning Turkic peoples particularly old and central Turkish. Sovie Turcology published these workings and analysis. However, Epic Edige was criticized for involving negative discourses oriented Turkic peoples in the term of Stalin. Decision of Tatarstan Soviet Regionalsm Committee both constituted legal basis to these criticism and ceased workings concerning the epic. So, workings and analysis concerning this epic did not make actual. However, Russian scientist V.M. Jirmunskiy published a book called Turkskiy Geroiçeskiy Epos- Turkish Heroic Saga. This book gave acceleration workings concerning this epic. Especially, number of these working has increased recently. Information about Edige and workings concerning Epic Edige will be given in the first part. In second part, 61 versions of Epic Edige dependent on Kazakh, Karakalpaks, Uzbek, Tatars, Bashkir, Noghai Turks will be analyzed. In the final section, Erpolat Rayımberdioğlu Version of Karakalpaks that are translated by us wil be given place to after integrated new text makes firm.
