Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is discussed political, economic, religious structure of state of Mughal in the Jahangir's period. Mughal territories that became a commercial zone for the European powers due to progresses happened in given term became a hangout spot for many itinerants. Only two of these itinerants, Terry and Pelsaert, relayed information that they saw in the state and society in their travel books. In this study it is quoted important developments about government policy, the commercial status and relations with other religions of Mughal by basing on Edward Terry and Francisco Pelsaert's works. In consideration of this information, results and impacts on society of cultural and religious reconciliation that is created in the state is indicated under different titles. In fact, while identify of state of Mughal that arise effect religious structuring, sometimes it gives shape to state-society relationships. This study is evaluated both from the point of view ruler and states and sometimes itinerants and also from acts of religious structurings.
