Abstract (EN)
This research investigates the atmospheric Airport's features on passengers' behavioral intention at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (AAKIA). The study is a quantitative methodology that involves the actual data from the questionnaires that have been distributed to the aviation industry of Zanzibar international airport. The study was spanning from 2020 to 2021. The research uses the two main variables identified: airport atmospheric features on passengers' which is the independent variable, and behavioral intentions are dependent variables. The study develops the proxies' variables for airport atmospheric air passengers such as layout accessibility, facility aesthetics, and perception of airport safety, airport cleanness, and sitting comfort. In the context of behavioral intention, the study develops the proxies of willingness to spend, intention to revisit, electronic equipment, and display, and customers 'satisfaction. The study applied statistical techniques to reveal the estimated results. These include a statistical linear regression equation to obtain the results. The research revealed the following results. The layout accessibility and airport cleanliness have a significant and negative effect on behavioral intention. Adhere, perception of airport safety, facility aesthetics, and sitting airport comfort affect behavioral intention. The policymakers related to the aviation industry in Zanzibar, especially Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, should develop an effective policy to enhance the efficiency of layout accessibility and airport cleanness. Also, more effort should be implemented to the facility aesthetics, perception of airport safety, and Airport sitting comfort.
