Abstract (EN)
The morphological, magnetic, thermal and mechanical properties of the martensite structure formed in Ti-7Al-3.8V-5.4Fe and Ti-6.5Al-4V-5Fe-1.3B alloys were investigated. The needle type α martensite structure formed in β grains in the alloys was examined by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).The magnetic properties of the alloyswere determined by Mössbauer Spectrometer. Mössbauer parameters such as Phases, Inner Magnetic Field, Quadrupol Shift, Isomer Shift, Line Width and Partial Areas were determined. It was determined that paramagnetic properties of alloy increased by adding B to alloy. Thermal properties of the alloys were determined by DSC method. The β phase transformation temperature of the alloys was found to be greater than 600 ° C. The mechanical properties of the alloys were determined by Vickers hardness and compression tests. It was determined that the addition of B to the alloy reduced the mechanical properties of the alloy.
