The effect of strategic leadership behaviour on crisis management

Businesses work in an intensive environment that has competition, change and developments are constant in today. Works life has a difficult character as well as dynamic because of conditional changes in the business world due to recent requirements of demand and supply pattern of workers besides the economic crisis and political uncertainties anymore. This is required new approaches and practices to offer new solutions to the management of organizational difficulties in this highly competitive environment. Echelons and high-rank employers have an upper role and responsibility to implement new approaches and practices depends on their decision and hesitation, braves or fears. So, this research has been motivated by the belief of high-rank employers must have strategic management skills to deal with a crisis. In this research, scales of the "Strategic Leadership Measures" and "Crisis Management Measures" has been used to determine the ideas and perceptions of the businessman on the relationship between strategic leadership and crisis management. The data collected from the 150 businessmen who participated in the research have been analyzed by SPSS 25 Packet program. Independent Samples t-Test, One Way ANOVA, Tukey HSD, Pearson Correlation Analysis and Linear Regression Analysis methods have been used to analyze data and the Cronbach Alfa coefficient to identify the structural integrity of the measures. According to the finding in this research, it concluded that the managers, businessmen or employers who have strategic leadership characteristics are more effective in crisis management.
