Özet (EN)
Software projects are mental workloads. Project team members must deal with more than one project generally. Multiple team membership (MTM) can lead to increased workload and stress for team members when project team members have to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities at the same time. This can result in reduced productivity and lower quality of work. Additionally, it can create conflicts and communication breakdowns within the team, as team members may have competing priorities and may not be able to align their work effectively. The aim of this study is to reveal the effects of multiple team membership for project team members, to help to eliminate negative factors and to highlight positive ones. This study is conveyed via a point of view of neuro-ergonomics for better understanding the individual mental processes of team members facing several software projects at the same time. Literature review and qualitative methods are hold via interviews with IT experts in finance industry in Turkey. As a consequence, MTM can provide insights to team members with a wider range of experience and skills, which can help them to become more versatile and adaptable. It can also foster collaboration and communication within the team, as team members are exposed to different perspectives and approaches. Therefore, multiple team membership does not always have negative effects on the performance of team members in software projects.
