Implementation of EFQM excellence model in petrochemical sector

For this purpose, Quality concept and Quality organizations intending to expand this concept are discussed. Historical development and quality gurus are examined. In the third chapter, all aspects of Total Quality Management has been investigated and positive contributions of organizations discussed. In the forth chapter, quality awards arranged and implemented for expanding quality concept in world have been taken in to consideration. Then, EFQM Excellence Model was expressed in detail.Executing The EFQM Model, troubles experienced, positive and negative influences of Petkim only petrochemical sector establishment in Turkey and National Quality Award, given by considering model criterias, request process and ıts consiquences are analysed.Actions, rehabilitation and development facilities taken owing to award are accounted for. In the last chapter, success of the implementation model in Petkim was analyzed and measured by field survey.
