Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, parametric values of Ege University's undergroud water for domestically usage were examined. Research was carried out under five headings that elemental analysis analysis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, analysis of pesticides, microbiological analysis and analysis of fundamental parameters. In this study, two instant samples which were sampled, on 9th December 2013 at 6:30 pm and on 11th February 2014 at 4:30 pm, from Ege University's domestic underground water tank and pump station that is fed by a single service pipe, combining four ground water sources. The quality grade of domestic water at Ege University was evaluated in accordance with "Water Pollution Control Regulations" and "Regulations on Drinking Water Intended for Human Consumption". The results shed light on public health and on behalf of the determination of the necessary measures are intended to contribute. As a result, the higher amounts of total pesticides, Arsenic and coliform bacterias in accordance with "Regulation on Drinking Water Intended for Human Consumption"s limit amounts show that domestic water source shall not have been used as a drinking water source. In addition, according to "Water Pollution Control Regulation"s classification, total pesticides, Mercury and Chloride amounts are mentioned as Class 2. All other parameters are mentioned as Class 1 according to "Water Pollution Control Regulation".
