Risk analysis of fire danger in educational buildings

In this study, necessary fire precautions and rules for fire prevention in order to be prepared in advance for possible fire dangers or to minimize the loss of life and property during fire have been determined. Whether the existing laws and regulations have sufficient or not for the determination of the following issues in those buildings have been demonstrated through a sample building. These issues; determination of the place and cause, type and characteristics of the fire, determination of possible types of fire that may occur in or around the existing building, determination of damages caused by fires caused by life and property, determination of material damages in case of fire events and to take the necessary precautions in advance, to determine that the economic damages that will occur in the building with real preventive measures against fire will be kept to a minimum level and to keep the visual effects of all risk factors determined in a risk file to be created. The methods and techniques used, examination and evaluation of existing laws and regulations related to the subject, conducting a risk assessment on an exemplary educational building designed according to the existing laws and regulations, using some simulation programs capable of fire assessment the competences of the regulations have been evaluated.
