The examination that used printed materials in educatıon projects for social responsibility aspects of typographical

This research was performed to investigate the effectiveness in terms of typography printed material of the for educational purposes social responsibility projects that owned by the Ministry of Education or supported by the Ministry of National Education.Descriptive research method used in the study. The aims in descriptive research is researching and presenting current status of a subject by defining the problem at hand, about the status of this problem, variables and relation between variables. In this study, 3. and 4. class graduate with 2. class undergraduate students who studied typography opinions are explored.In this study, graphics, visual design, communication design in the field of education and training were the opinions of the students from universities in Ankara.This research supported by Gazi University, Hacettepe University, Ba?kent University, Bilkent University, Atılım University and Fatih University.Questionnaire technique was used as a data collection technique. For research, were asked to give an opinion about typographic design in posters from printed materials from students. Students with the application of a Likert-style questionnaire assessed the following projects: ?7 Çok Geç?, ?Eğitim Her Engeli A?ar?, ?Haydi Kızlar Okula?, ?% Okuyan Üreten Türkiye?, ?Baba Beni Okula Gönder?, ??kmep?, ?Fatih?, ?Hayat Boyu Öğrenme?, ?Bir Adım Daha?, ?Bu Benim Eserim?, ?Okul Öncesi Eğitimin Güçlendirilmesi Projesi?, ?E-Twinnig Turkey?, ?Eğitime %100 Destek?, ?Özel Eğitim Güçlendirilmesi?.Some statical analysis made to data in the result of research. These analyses were frequecy analysis, reliability analysis and t-tests. As a result of the t-tests, there is no significant difference in the evaluation of students by gender. However, significant differences were found between the educational background (graduate and undergraduate) of the students.According to this study results, projects posters designs which owned by the Ministry of Education or supported by the Ministry of Education are in generally effective and successful. Poster designs found to be effective in terms of typographic criteria by the students. According to the findings of the study the project posters will be successful in reaching the target audience.Key Words: Graphic Design, Typography, Social Responsibility, Poster Design
