This study involves the examination and critical evaluation in terms of appropriateness to the graphic design rules and effectiveness of the media used in the education oriented social responsibility campaigns during the 2000-2007 time period by civil societies, private sector and government institutes.During this research social responsibility concept was analyzed in terms of advertisement communication, graphical design and education. Educational and informative messages as solutions for the social issues are evalated. The importance of social campaigns from this aspect are stressed.Survey about the posters and webpages used for the campaigns was collected from professionals in the field and were tabulated. Average techniques were used for the statistical analyses of the data obtained from the surveys of professional opinions.The information gathered from the surveys and the studies demonstrated that not all the posters and webpages fit the necessary criteria and they exhibited visual problems.The proposals of the researcher about the aspects that doesn?t fit the elements of design is discussed in the conclusion.
