Conflict areas and degrees between teachers and managers at education institutes of Kütahya city

Nowadays, a large number of research on organizations are focused on individuals. In order to increase success of an organization, it must understand importance of individuals. One of the most important factor effecting performance of individuals and their organizational affiliation is conflict which is occurred between individuals having different condition and opportunities.Many reason can be said for conflict. A lot of factors as difference between individuals, performing of management its responsibilities and duties, and job weight distribution may cause conflict. Conflict may have number of unwanted effects. For this reason, research on factors causing conflict has importance in management and organization area.In this research, conflict areas and their degrees between teachers and managers working at education sector were evaluated. 414 teacher-manager subjected to survey, and their ideas about possible conflict area were gathered. Collected data was analysised at SPSS 15.0 for Windows program and results were discussed.Results of research show that teachers have conflict at areas of individual differences, responsibilities and duties of management, using of public areas, and work distribution. Research topics were examined as subtopics and results were reported. Cross-tabulation method as descriptive analysis was used for statistical analysis, and frequency analysis was used to evaluate general information. In order to gather conceptual information for first section of the research, document scanning method was used. A number of suggestions for further analysis were given at the end of research.Key Words: Conflict, Education, Management, Organization, School Management.
