Distance education systems in educationand training &the necessity of distance education: 2010-2016 period graduate studies analysis

As a result of using knowledge and communication technologies in data processing frequently, definitions of knowledge age and knowledge society has occured. Stream speed of knowledge has increased in paralled with the speed of transformation and development in knowledge and communication technologies especially after mids of last century, as result of this the knowledge and abilities of gained by education institutions has lost its future validity and usefulness for individuals. Present traditional education system can not fully reach stream speed of knowledge and can not deal out well-qualified and appropriate costs to individuals who has different learning skills. This problem in traditional education system, can be over come with a new formation that aims to solve problem by leading on education service as quick as transformation to crowds. The constitution of this new formation is possible only by using education-oriented high technology instruments As result of rapid transformation in technology, today's education and training system that has traditional education system forced to implement distance learning by using technology and thereby education system has gained an new dimension. In this context distance learning system is efffectively used in technological developments in educational institutions, modern human's self-restoring needs, ensuring equality of opportunity and situations that can interfere with using distance learning. Using distance learning has decreased the costs about education services and provided the opportunity of education and training service to more people. Thus with decreasing costs national economics has supplemented and by providind education service to more people educated, qualified and skilled labour force has compused. But as traditional education system, distance learning system also has positive, negative and some incompleted components. In order to reveal the negeative and incompleted components of this system, master thesises written in Turkey has been studied and has tried to achieve the purpose of this study. The aim of the research is to analyze and evaluate the graduate studies of 2010-2016 period, with considering distance education systems and necessity in education and training. In accordance with this purpose, 258 graduate studies on dictance aducation in Turkey which done between 2010-2016 have been considered. From these studies, a total of 25 dissertation which including 14 masters and 11 doctorate were evaluated and the study was carried out in this direction.
