Abstract (EN)

This thesis study have been prepared in order to investigate what changes happened after multiple-party life especially by focusing on the term of 1950-1960. According to this, how much The Democratic Party Governments which governed along 10 years continued the education policy that Atatürk and İnönü applied? or did they have it continued? We looked for the responses of these questions. For this reason, an investigation between the terms and the factors affecting the education policy have been tried to compare. These terms have been examined as three parts.After just announcing The Republic in October 29, 1923 in Turkey, the renovation studies of all the social structures and institutions have been started fast. In the term of İsmet İnönü, The Education Minister, Hasan Ali Yücel, played important role. He did lots of renovations concerned to education but the most important renovation that the disputes have still continued on it until now was The Willage Institutions.In The Term of Democratic Party, many changes in education policy have became. This changes became the causes of the lots of understandings that have affected the last disputes. These disputes are necessary religious education, The Willage Institutions and the Schools that grows imams.Key Words: Education, Education Policy, The Willage Institutions, Democratic Party
