Abstract (EN)

The reason why education system exists is that it helps people reachinformation and that it presents the necessary means to develop information.Education is responsible for making it possible for people to acquire newbehaviors that can answer to the changes in their environment. The successof the education system in producing the intended product gains meaning aslong as the intended aims are consistent with social and individualexpectations. Education system should raise individuals that can find out theunknown by the help of the things that are known instead of individuals likeparrots that return the thing given. Thus, education system should have astructure that strengthens creative thought in individuals.Today there is a need for people who can think creatively and out of theordinary. It is partly true that this virtue is innate. However, by teaching peopleways of thinking differently, it is possible to reveal their creative sides. Thereis a need for a doctrine that can teach people creativity in a systematic wayand that can be repeated. This doctrine should be based on a scientific basisand should be easy for everyone to apply. In this field, Theory of InventiveProblem Solving (TRIZ) has attracted attention recently. The aim of this thesisis to tell to the people who will use the source that such a doctrine exists andto guide people to apply the doctrine. While doing this, first of all, the basis ofthe doctrine is explained within the historical development of TRIZ and thelogic of the technique is tried to be given. In the beginning, TRIZ was suggested in order to solve problemsrelated with engineering, namely in order to make creative discoveries in thefield of engineering and science. However, the applications that are carriedout later have shown that it is possible to use TRIZ in fields like socialsciences, economy and in the daily life. Seeing the potential in TRIZ,researchers have tried to make this technique a means of analysis for TotalQuality Management (TQM), which is one of the ways to ?seek for the better?.Researchers have compared the analysis techniques that these twotechniques include and they have suggested using it together. In this direction, readers will find an adaptation of a joint application ofTRIZ and TQM to the education system. An education experience that is verydifferent from the ones they saw before will be presented to the students, teachers and parents in an uncontrolled, friendly environment in whicheveryone will be a point of interest. The point that this thesis wishes tounderline is that the focal point of the school is work of a high quality andpersonal responsibility and that the aim of all students is to discover the factthat education is the best way to enhance the quality of their lives.
