Abstract (EN)
This study aims at evaluating usability of DynEd Educational Software which was realized with measuring of effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction of the software. The independent variable of the research is interaction of users with DynEd Educational Software. The dependent variables of the research are effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction of the software which were measured in the end of interaction of the users. Survey was utilized to define user profile, observation was utilized to measure effectiveness and efficiency of the software, interview and think aloud were utilized to measure user satisfaction. The research was carried out with 15 participants who were randomized. Users completed every task by themselves in the research process. After implementation, data was analyzed in SPSS 15.0 program. After analysis, average of user task completing achievement is %98 (effectiveness). Accoding to this result, it can be said that the software is effective. Task completion time was limited with 60 second. When the users passed over 60 second limitation (but if they completed tasks), their task completion time was written as 60 second in data table. During implementation, the tasks that couldn?t been completed were unaccounted. User average time for task completion is 13,66 second. This time is less than top limitation that is 60 second. All users carried out 240 processing, during this process number of total error is 46 (% 19,17). The number of total error is low, because participants used the software first time. According to results of participant satisfaction analysis, it can be said that participant satisfaction is high.Key Words: Usability, Evaluation of Usability, Human Computer Interaction, User Centered Design, E- learning
