Levels of power resources utilization in elemantary schools

The purpose of this study is determine the levels of primary school administrators benefiting from the power sources, in Sultanbeyli, Kartal, Pendik and Maltepe district of Istanbul.The following questions were answered in this study:1-Is there any difference between the views of teachers according to their genders about the levels of the primary school administrators benefiting from the power sources?2-Is there any difference between the views of teachers according to their alma mater about the levels of the primary school administrators benefiting from the power sources?3-Is there any difference between the views of teachers according to their branches about the levels of the primary school administrators benefiting from the power sources?4-Is there any difference between the views of teachers according to their professional seniority about the levels of the primary school administrators benefiting from the power sources?5-Is there any difference between the views of teachers according to their school types about the levels of the primary school administrators benefiting from the power sources?6-Is there any difference between the views of teachers according to their type of managerial power about the levels of the primary school administrators? benefiting from the power sources?Scanning model has been used in this study. 255 teachers who work in a private or public school in 2011-2012 academic year participated to this investigation from the schools in some distrcts of İstanbul like Sultanbeyli, Pendik, Kartal and Maltepe. Data collecting tool called levels of benefiting from power sources of Primary school administrators has been used in this study. The first part of the data collection instrument has personal information. The second part has the surveys of the levels of benefiting from power sources of Primary school administrators.The findings of surveys were analyzed by SPSS 16.0. Personal information regarding the participants were analyzed by frequency and percent. At the end, we saw that the administrators who work in public schools use the power of their bureau. The administrators who work in private schools use the power of their profession.
