Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to determine the technological leadership efficacy of school administrators and teachers? attitudes towards technology in the primary schools. This study investigates the relationship between the technological leadership efficacy of school administrators and teachers? attitudes towards technology. Population of the study was consisted of school administrators and teachers who were working in state and private primary schools of Ministry of Education located in Yenimahalle district of Ankara in 2012-2013 academic year. There were 87 state and 20 private primary schools affiliated to Ministry of Education located in Yenimahalle district of Ankara. Simple random sampling method was used to select 18 state primary schools and 3 private primary schools. After gaining permissions to apply survey in determined schools, the researcher met with selected school administrators and teachers to apply survey on a voluntary basis. Totally 21 schools was administered to survey, and missing or incorrectly filled out surveys were eliminated, the remaining 58 school administrators and 408 teachers who are answered the survey were evaluated. The ?Technology Leadership Competency Scale for School Administrators? survey, which was adapted from technological leadership standards (NETS-A) settled in ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) (2009) by Hacıfazlıoğlu, Karadeniz and Dalgıç (2011), used to determine the level of technological leadership efficacy of school administrators and the ?Attitude Scale towards Educational Technologies? was used to determine the teachers? survey used to determine attitudes towards technology. Study findings revealed that school administrators generally considered themselves highly self-efficient in technology leadership (X=3,88). However statistically significant relationship with the level of technological leadership efficacy of school administrators and teachers? positive attitudes (r= - 0,142) & negative attitudes (r=0,318) towards technology was not found.
