Abstract (EN)

The aim of this course is to analyze the effects of technical skills, human relations and conceptual skills on managerial effectiveness of teachers who have received graduate education in the field of Educational Administration by teachers perceptions. By determining the level of effectiveness of managers, the benefit of graduate education in the field of education management and supervision will be interpreted and recommendations will be given. The managerial effectiveness of school administrators is discussed in three sub-dimensions. These sub-dimensions; technical skills, human relations and conceptual skills. The research has been carried out with the participation of 250 teachers who are working in public primary and secondary schools, in Antalya. "The Effectiveness of School Principals' survey, which was developed by Richard L.Andrews and was adapted to Turkish by Aksu in 1994, has been used as a data collection tool. Reliability level and item-test correlations of survey has been tested for the internal consistency. Coefficients and item-total correlations of the standardized Cronbach's alpha on both sub-dimensions and survey have been seen quite high and close to perfection. In the validity of the questionnaire studies, confirmatory factor analysis has been used for construct validity. Outputs on the DFA model have shown that the model data fit is high and meaningful. Non-parametric hypothesis tests were used to analyze the data. In this context, hypotheses were generated for each of the research problem and these hypotheses were tested with 'Mann-Whitney U-test', 'Kruskal-Wallis H test' and 'Tamhane multiple comparison test'. The results of the analyses show that the levels of effectiveness level of the principals of male principals, principals who manage for more than 16 years, and principals who manage for 6 to 10 years in the same school differ significantly from other principals.
