Özet (EN)

The purpose of this research is to determine the positive effect of exercise on individuals' quality of life by observing its effect on stress and anger situations. The study was designed according to the relational survey model and conducted with a total of 614 volunteer individuals living in Kırşehir and Gaziantep provinces, between the ages of 18-60, consisting of 304 women and 310 men. "Stress Coping Methods Scale" and "State-Trait Anger and Anger Expression Style Scale" were used as data collection tools. According to the findings of the study, it was determined that the level of coping with stress was significantly higher in individuals who exercised compared to individuals who did not exercise. It was determined that demographic variables such as age and education level were effective on coping with stress levels, and there were significant differences in some sub-dimensions in terms of anger control. In this context, it is recommended to develop exercise-based and multifaceted intervention programs in order to improve both psychological health and quality of life of individuals.
