The Turkish language is a very rich and expressive language. It is necessary to know that the richness of a language does not depend on the number of words. In fact, the real richness changes according to the power of expression, rather than the number of words. Being agglutinative is the real power and richness of Turkish Language. However, the Turkish language surprises foreign linguists for its capabilitiy of superior derivations; we are not aware of its beauty, richness and power. Western academics, praised the unfailing rules in the language, the skilful style and the transparency seen in the constructions (derivations). While it is extremely complex and hard to form those grammatical structures in flexional Indo-European languages, it is easy and clear to express those in agglutinative Turkish without a relative pronoun but with derivational and inflectional suffixes. We will compare and contrast Turkish language with the flexional English, French and German in terms syntax with the examples of cause and effect, reason and result and concessive clauses and try to show the power of expression in Turkish.
